Seedtime and Harvest

So Adam and Eve refused to accept responsibility for their disobedience and for choosing to exercise their own will by rejecting God’s plan.
He put them outside the garden and basically told them you think you have it all figured out - go ahead.
They were going to have to figure out how to work for a living by the sweat of their brow. He gave them clothing and set them on their journey.
When we put God first in our lives - His hand of blessing is on everything we do. Adam was having to learn that. He had to start learning the principles of sowing and reaping. You dig up the ground, plant seeds, keep the weeds out from choking your crop, then you reap your harvest and bring it into your storehouse.
He also had to learn that you had to take a portion of that seed for planting another crop or you won’t have anything to eat next year. If you eat all your seed and don’t plant any. Soon your storehouses will be empty.
This is commonly referred to sowing and reaping or seedtime and harvest in the Bible. In fact God referenced it as a constant or universal law that would be relevant throughout life on this earth.
In Genesis 8:22 God said ““While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.””
Genesis 8:22 NKJV
Everything that has life on earth comes from a seed. But, if that seed is not planted - it will not bring forth new life. This applies to people, animals, and plants alike. He said the law of seedtime and harvest will remain as long as the earth remains. If the earth no longer exists - you don’t need seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, or day and night.
